Counterfeit Version of Vimax in U.S. and Worldwide Distribution

Factoria Trading & Consulting B.V. (in the following ‘Factoria’) is conducting a voluntary campaign of information about Vimax Pills dietary supplement counterfeiting.
Factoria is aware that on U.S. and worldwide markets there are counterfeited bottles of Vimax containing undeclared ingredients that can pose a serious risk to health of customers.
Factoria learned about this problem after being notified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that one lot of product purporting to be Vimax contained an undeclared drug ingredients. More specifically, a product with lot number 01.13 and expiry date on 11.2016 contains tadalafil. The counterfeit products are probably sold at retail worldwide in the form of pills bottles. Tadalafil is a drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction. This drugs may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates. Erectile dysfunction is a common problem in men with these conditions, and consumers may seek Vimax to enhance sexual performance.
The counterfeit Vimax Pills product is not manufactured, distributed or packaged by Factoria but is falsely marked with the same name and bottle used by Factoria for its genuine product. Particularly, the lot number reported by FDA, as well as the expiry date associated, does not match with any lot numbers manufactured by Factoria since the launch of Vimax Pills product.

Factoria is committed to protect the market place and its customers from counterfeit and adulterated product purporting to be authentic Vimax Pills.
Factoria will continue to cooperate with the FDA in order to ensure that all of our customers can rely on only finding genuine Vimax Pills on the shelves of retailers.
However, Factoria advice to purchase the product only from Factoria or its limited authorized distributors. This practice should avoid the unwitting purchase of counterfeit products that are not properly labeled and that come from sources that are not mindful of customer safety.
Furthermore, because it is very difficult to distinguish the counterfeit from the genuine product, Factoria, holder of Vimax Pills product, has put in place a system to ensure the authenticity of Vimax Pills product against counterfeit product purchasable on the market.
On our website the customer can find an ANTI-COUNTERFEIT CHECK system (see https://www.vimaxpills.com/int/genuine.html and https://www.vimax.com/genuine.html). The customer can easily check the authenticity of purchased product using the serial number reported on the product bottle security label.
Any adverse reactions or quality problems experienced with the use of any counterfeit products may be reported to the FDA’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail or by fax.

This press release has being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
